Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground
I'm not sure where these guys were from, but I'd guess either Austin or Seattle. I loved this song in high school, it was so perfect. I still don't fully understand "I smell sex and candy" but hey I love the "Hey momma this surly is a dream, yeah". I'm not sure if this is a pop song or if it's just an borderline alternative song. Who knows. But it was one of the few songs that was of some quality between 1996 and 2001. So for that Marcy Playground, I thank you.
